Movie Studio 13 crashed immediately on launch. Worked fine yesterday. Was running version 13.0.0.190 64-bit. Multiple attempts to launch, same problem. Uninstalled and re-installed. Same problem. Unistalled (again) and reinstalled version 13.0.0.185 32-bit, same problem.

Uninstalled and removed all files/folders for Sony. Re-installed version 13.0.0.183 .... newest version automatically updated. Same problem .... crash immediately on launch.

This is from the Problem Report:

At least try resetting.
E.g. this thread.

OK, thanks.

I had just done the 'Reset' from here: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/forums/ShowTopics.asp?ForumID=12&back=1

I had tried the CTRL+SHFT, but was doing it wrong .... .... had to hit CTRL-SHFT as Movie Studio was starting (I was holding CTRL-SHFT then clicking the icon to start).

Anyhow, putting back to factory default (or what ever it is) DID do the trick.

Thanks again.
