Movie Studio HD installation post-free trial

Okay so I've been trying to get this program to work for a good four hours. I ordered Movie Studio from amazon (new copy, official amazon, etc.) and when I try to install it, it installs properly but (since I had a free trial on here about six months ago) it brings up the whole 'your trial has ended, input the serial' thing and I figured it would be as easy as doing that but it's not. I've uninstalled and reinstalled countless times now and nothing seems to be working.

When I input the serial number ON THE PACKAGING or the serial number that the site gave me when I registered the product it either tells me it's invalid or that the application will restart to start the upgrade process. When I click 'okay', it just brings the 'your trial has ended' window back up and the process continues.

The customer service has been of 100% no help thusfar. I've looked everywhere I could and I haven't found anything that fits my problem, I've sent an email and gotten no response, I've tried calling multiple times and gotten the recorded menu that even then gave no help.

If someone could point me in the right direction or give me an answer on what to do I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you so much! I guess the answer was in the exact opposite location of what I was thinking... Either way, it's working now and I'm very happy!

So it seems, probably not valid any more due to the transition to MAGIX.

Try to find a way to MAGIX Customer Service.

I've got the exact same problem here too and can't contact anyone at all at MAGIX without paying 13,99$ for the support (and the coupon they offer for registring doesn't work with support...). Any news on your part simon-bulow?
