Movie studio Platinum 16 will not start.

Hello,

I have been using Movie Studio 16 Platinum for several years on my computer. But all of a suden, today I just cant start it.

I have tried reinstalling movie studio and restarting PC but to no avail. Program will not start, no error message. It will just appear in task manager as running app but it is using 0 percent of procesor, meaning it isnt really running.

What should I do?

If the program worked for years, something must have happened with the program or the Windows Installation.
First try to reset the program exactly following this tutorial (works also for Movie Studio programs) : https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/

Did you try to kill the process(es) in Task Manager anyway?

Yes, I can kill the process in Task Manager no problem.
