This is everything I've done to try and get it to work:
1) Used administrative privileges during install and program run.
2) Uninstalled the program and re installed the program.
3) shut down the windows firewall.
4) shut down super anti spyware.
Never had a program do this to me, have no idea what the problem is.
Start your VMS once while holding the shift-key and follow instructions in the popup menu.
It's possible that the OP does not even see any of his 3 Posts (so far). He has not replied to my PM regarding this yet either.

Here's where I'm at with the problem:
The [ctr]+[shift] then [double click main program icon on desktop] will trigger a pop up and this DOES start the program. The only problem at this point (and I can deal with it this way if I must) is to do this procedure every time I start the program. I can't start a session I have been working on, I can only do this procedure to get the program to open and then drag and drop the session in from some other location. I've tried to open after saving and continue to have the same problem. Again, for clarity, I must do the ctr+shift+double click main program just to get it to open (even after having saved).
@Tim-Kasey I've closed your two earlier similar threads. Please continue in this thread. Cross posting should be avoided (CR #3).
