MSP13 Ignoring "Render loop region only"

When I select "render loop region only" using the Sony AVC/MVC Internet 1920x1080p template and choose to save the output MP4 format file to my hard drive, MSP13 proceeds to render the complete project.

This occurs irrespective of whether I highlight the region with the mouse or enter the area using the "Selection Length" field.

I had no such issues using MSP12 and would like to check if any other members encountered this issue before I contact Technical Support.

I rendered a bunch of segments yesterday using the Loop Region yellow markers and never had a problem. I rendered to several different templates.

did you check "Render loop region only" in the Render Options pull-down menu of the Advanced options / Render As... window as well?
I've had the same experiences as D7K.

Thanks for your feedback. I think I've identified the problem from the information you and D7K provided.

I didn't see the "Render loop region only" in the Render Options pull-down menu of the Advanced options. I checked the "Render loop region only" in the basic window and then proceeded to go to the advanced menu without checking the pull down option, thinking that I had already checked it. Yes, it could be better implemented but it now works. Many thanks.

Ahh yes....That is an oldie and a goodie!

It has been that way for many versions and has foiled many of us in the beginning. All they need to do is make the window larger! That shouldn't take much programming....
