Otherwise, download the latest build of your product from the Magix Service Center> My Products and reinstall, You should not need to uninstall VMS first. All your customizations and presets should remain untouched..

Check Task Manager to see that there are no VEGAS processes still running. Then try downloading from MAGIX Download Center entering the serial number you got from MAGIX.
