I am about to do my first 4K editing project and would like any tips on project settings. All my clips were shot on a Canon camcorder MP4 3840 x 2160 @ 59.94. It was an Air Show. The final output I will be streaming it to my 4K Television and to other devices in my home. No Youtube.
The settings are fine.
For advice about fluent edits in 4K we need your hardware specs.
Looks good to me, though I always set my full res render quality to best. Also, you don't need resampling unless you are using mixed-framerate video, and there's performance advantages gained by disabling it.

G:\ Drobo 6TB This is were I copy all my photos and videos for long term storage.
H:\ SSD 500 gb is was used as a Cache drive
I:\ RockStor Raid 0 1x4 TB Used to place video files to edit. Fast drive.
Oh i forgot how about resample mode smart resample or off?

Smartresample choosen works only when needed for interframes.
If all is the same footage as your rendertemplate that option does nothing.
