@Robert-Given Yes, it's only possible, under the 'All' tab to differentiate a 3rd party plug-in from a Vegas plug-in by selecting it. The plug-in details will be displayed at the bottom of the plug-in window.
However, under the 'Third Party' tab, if you have plug-ins from more that one 3rd party, you can filter the ones out that you're not interested in.
Thank you, It has been resolved. I accidentally set up 2 accounts and try to use the wrong download. You were very quick with your responses. Much appreciated!
Hi , i just had this 'problem' with Elements 3 Overlay not showing after just installing Vegas pro 18, but Id also already noted before when using the Trial version that the NewBlue i do have don't show in the same way in the popup fx folder as they're named in the NewBlue Applications Manager,
I didn't fret about it but now i own the program i decided to fix it, esp. when my new Elements 3 Overlay didn't seem to show, so after reading your comment Jack S, i followed the instructions on that link - Point 4, (Is that Ctrl+Shift & double click on the desktop shortcut or the taskbar icon? ) I couldn't get it to work, it just launched Vegas, but reading jetdv's comment 'NewBlue effects will not have "NewBlue" in the name' i had a look through what is there,
First i needed to know what was in Elements 3 Overlay, their site told me 😁
The FAQ's point 14 that Jack refers to gives a link to this resetting instructions FAQ. Quoting from p.2 there: "Press CTRL+SHIFT on your keyboard while double-clicking the program's shortcut icon on the desktop to launch it *." Please read also the footnote *.
Filter Packages is not a NewBlue folder. It's the "Packages" folder where you can add multiple effects into a single "package". The NewBlue folders do all start with the word "NewBlue" - the effects do not.
If you go to the 3rd party tab, you can filter out by individual NewBlue products (1 or more depending on what you have checked) so it's a good way to see what you have available in those product categories.
