New Blue Plugin's for MS13.....

They might have it fixed by now, but today I went on an online chat, I could see the stuff that came with ms12 but not the new stuff that was supposed to come with MS13. The representative said that I was correct there was an error with no link to the New Blue Stuff for MS 13, but they were fixing it. She gave me the link and then generated a serial number. I'd check the download and if it is still not there, I use the new chat support to get the link and a serial number.

Thanks, the plugin url I got from Sony Support required a serial number (which they gave) but the plugins themselves had the NewBlue logo on them. The link in your referenced post worked great.

D7K,
judging from your post in the other thread, your experience is that
NewBlueSonyVegasMSPPS13Setup14-140115.exe and NewBlueSonyVegasMSPPS13Setup14-140117.exe
are actually very different?

jetdv? SCS?

Posted this in another post, thought I'd repost it here - 140115 (the one I got from Sony support yesterday) and 140117 are entirely different. 140115 would not accept the serial number I was given and had water markets, 117 installed over it and I no longer need to put in a serial number. The NB plugins are quite different (as I've listed below) but if you remember at 12's introduction there were problems with the NB stuff and Sony gave me a special link and serial number for ms12. Perhaps I don't have the standard ms12 stuff.

Here's what I found in the two plugin sets:

Also the set of plugins (between 12 & 13) that I have from NB are very different.

One is labeled "New Blue VideoFX for Sony Vegas MSPPS" and contains auto contrast, color fixer plus, paper collage, posterize, selective color, and selective focus, (the one that came with MS 12).

the new one is "NewBlue Starter Pack" with ST colored pencil, ST Dream Glow, ST film Camera, ST Lens Correction, ST Reflection, ST Shear Energy, ST spotlight, and ST video Tuneup. (MS 13)

So they appear to be two very different sets of plugins - all are working with my MS13.

I think the starter pack has always come with Titler EX. You may have just missed them before? You'll find the folder for the starter pack in the TitlerEX folder. That would mean that the included plugins are the same.

Well I've never bought NB Plugins, only those that came with MS12 and 13. As you can see they are very different in the content.

OK....Let me rephrase....

The Starter Pack definitely came with Titler 1.0 and Titler 2.0. Possibly EX too. I can't recall. I *DO* see it installed in my Titler EX folder.

The most current build of the bundled MSPPS package is:

http://www.newbluefx.com/downloads/Sony/NewBlueSonyVegasMSPPS13Setup14-140117.exe

The "Starter Pack" effects are a part of Titler. Installing the bundle above will also install the Starter Pack as will Titler Pro 1 and Titler Pro 2.
