New Blue pro titler causing Vegas to crash

MemoriesFX wrote on 1/11/2012, 10:17 PM
I am experiencing high quantities of crashes using the New Blue titler. I have build 111024 and I am wondering if there is a newer version as there is no mention of this on their site. Anyone have any suggestions or things I could be doing to cause the crashes. It seems to be occuring when I try to apply an animation from their library.
I have GPU accelration turned on.

Any other OFX plugins crashing?

There is a newer version but you can get a lot more help if you'd start a help ticket at newbluefx.com and also include exactly what kinds of crashes you are getting, what you are doing when it crashes, etc...

If you go back to the page sent to you by Sony, the current version you download from there is build 111213.

Has this changed? Trying to update b111024 by this method gives 'You have the most current version'.

Confirmed - same problem.

Same problem here, so I got the update from the NewblueFX site:

RoS, the site you mention is actually the one Jetdv mentioned. I would have thought that should also be the one where New Blue pro Titler should be looking for updates.

Willem, I got build 111213 from that link and installed it.

Haven't tried the update feature.

Ok, I hopefully have the correct file updated so the Check For Updates will properly work on build 111024 now.

Checking for updates now works, thanks.

Can confirm that too. Check for updates working now and the 111213 update installed. Thanks!

I opened a support ticket at New Blue and they replied right away which was surprising as the last time they never aswered me. They suggested I donwload the update but said to uninstall the previous version first. This has seemed to have made a difference as I have not had a crash yet.
No other plugins seem to be crashing so I am hoping that this was the cause and the newer version is more stable.

Steve, if your previous question was never answered, either one of two things happened:

1. I never got your question
2. The reply was bounced or marked as spam

In the past, I had someone ask something, sent the reply, and didn't think about it again. They then sent the same question a few days later, I answered it again. Then a few days later received the same question again with an irate message as to why we were not responding. Finally I tried responding from my personal account, explained that this was my THIRD reply, and they finally got that e-mail. Not sure why they were not getting the others, though. Somewhere, something was marking it as spam or something.

Honestly, the help ticket system is the best way to ask questions as the entire conversation can be tracked and attachments remain with the posts.
