New Install of 15 crashes

After a long delay, fearful that 15 build 261 might not work, I installed it. I looks very nice. I went to drag and drop an mp4 file on the timeline and the program crashed. I shut things down, rebooted and tried again with another short mp4 file and this time it crashed with a note that it could not establish an internet connection...the connection that I'm using the send this note. It wanted to reset all my Internet connection and I went to decline, but all I got was 30 minutes of whirling blue where the cursor should be. Fortunately, Vegas 14 is still there and working and both files in questions went to the 14 timeline without a problem. To be fair, I did get one .avi file to make it to the 15 timeline without crashing. What's the secret to make this program work?

OK, I went back and tried it again and this time it gave me a 'Hint' to activate my mp4 decoder. Fortunately, it did it automatically. Now my mp4 files work. Of course, I tried an m2t file to the timeline and the program crashed again. After a couple more tries I got another "Hint" to activate my m2t decoder. Is there any way to activate all the decoders?

Thanks, I just assumed that when I regestered it would activate the codecs since I was already on line.

Magix pay for some codecs only when a user registers them. So, to keep costs down, they don't get registered unless you need them.
