Cornico  I really appreciate the help you are offering; however I am very disappointed with Majix for the lack of support they have given me with this situation. I really like working with Vegas Pro; however I am beginning to think that "Paying Cash Customers" are not a priority with them. It is as though they are attempting to force me to purchase Vegas Pro 14. That in my estimation is just down right bad business practices I have never ran into a situation like this in my entire programming career. I am beginning to believe they bit off more than they could chew with their acquisitions from Sony.

Was this your first install of Vegas Pro ever or did you use a lower version before?

Believe it or not this is the absolute first time I have ever complained on a user forum or anything else for that matter; however, I have never spent 2 weeks trying to run a program before either, Thank you for the advice I will try to do better,

Marco I have a new laptop with an I7 Chip and 12 mg of memory. I did download a trial version of Vegas Pro 14 to see if it had the functionality I needed, Other than that no other versions of Vegas Pro except the update build 545. Thanks for any assistance

Maybe try installing on another machine. If successful, at least you know you have a valid serial number and you can start to whittle down the possible problems. Use the latest Vegas 13 download of course.

Kinvermark, trying an install on another computer would have been my first step; however, I am in an Motor Home in Tampa Florida and I do not have one available. Thank you for the suggestion.

Just for curiosity's sake and to rule out the option, try resetting. Shouldn't hurt.

I have been reviewing The log files while Vegas is loading and I discovered this as the last file generated on my system. The last entry states that my Device Type is not supported. I will attach the log file and if anyone can make any sense out of it please let me know. It reads as though my Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU is not compatible with Vegas Pro, Now that is just a pain!!!!

Maybe a conflict with intel's onboard graphics and AMD card? I think this may have been reported before. Try disabling one or the other and reset the Vegas prefs: I think it's CTRL + SHIFT while launching Vegas.

Also, try a search for GPU acceleration in the forum.

Kinvermark , I have tried the reset deal by holding down the  CTRL + SHIFT while launching  and even double clicking; however it has not had any effect I still go straight to the same error dialog. I will search for GPU acceleration on the forum. Thanks

hmm, first time I ever heard AMD devices can cause the issue... so far I know, AMD & ATI Radeon work nicely with Vegas Pro ?
