New Update

I have downloaded and attempted to install the newest update for Movie Studio 17 Plat. but it fails to finish every time. I have tried rebooting, telling it to run the install when I close the program and immediately. It starts the update and then tells me it can not complete while the program is running even when it is not. I have looked to see if I could find where the update downloaded to so that I could restart it after I rebooted the computer but I am unable to find it. Any help is accepted

If you download from the prompt inside the software and select to install after the program is closed, you should find the relevant update.exe here C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Movie Studio Platinum\17.0

If it's not there, try other options (see points 3, 4 and 6 here). Sometimes Chrome does not download without a workaround, so you may need to try another browser. (Be sure to also check Task Manager first to see that there are no VEGAS processes running.)
