@RZ VEGAS Pro 18 Edit does not include SF 14, Pro "classic" and Suite do. All versions have SL Pro 7 as a bonus in the current offer.
You should get serial numbers and download links in your order confirmation email (check also spam folder just in case) or in the package if you chose to purchase that.

Hello, i bought Vegas Pro 18 (Edu), got my serial for V18 Pro and Soundforge, but nothing about Spectraiayers pro 7 must i write back to Magix about it ?
The current VEGAS Shop offer has it as a bonus as you've seen.
magix academic told me that i'll get the same as a "normal version", with no limitations. so i will write back to the EDU desk. thanks for the reply !
May I ask for the outcome? Is SpectraLayers included when buying the Education Version?
Thanks in advance!
Unfortunatly no. i Now regret to have bought the Edu... I only had the money to do a downgrade to the edit, couldn't buy a Pro upgrade (i had a Vegas Pro 16 licence), way too much expensive for me... I took the Edu, but if i had to think twice, i would have paid twice just to have spectralayers, i'm a musician (own lot of steinberg products) and was very interested by it. A mistake of mine :(
Sorry to hear that, but thanks for the quick reply. I wasn't aware that Magix offers education discounts. I guess SL on top would be too much to ask for.

yeah thanks, well, I was not aware of it as well. first time I tried... i'm not a student, but a disabled person / musician, was not sure that it would work but it's in their list of the organisation which can apply to EDU.
I didn't had money to do an upgrade to vegas 17 last year, the upgrade is so expensive, and with a release each year, it's very difficult to follow when you have low income. but many company like steinberg , red giant, accept Edu for officially Disabled organisation members so i wrote to magix to know by "any chance"...
I don't know what the deal with steinberg around spectralayers... as it was a product from sony, that magix bought, and then re-"sold" to steinberg... maybe the deal is more "nice" to magix and steinberg than we could think of, as offering a full pro licence of spectralayers doesn't cost for sure 299€ to magix lol... but we'll never know. if they offert it with even the Edit upgrade we can be sure the price is very low for them.
that next time i'll think twice. I was not interested by it before but since their new engine / ai feature in the 7 version, it's a completly new deal... :(
I was definitely under the impression that the VP18 upgrade offer included SF14 - this seems a tad misleading if it does not... my SF12 is OK but SLOW. I was hoping to see some speed improvements.
