Good morning.
I only learned of the acquisition now Sony Creative by Magix. I also saw that was released Vegas Movie Studio 14. It will also be updated?

According to reports from MAGIX, MAGIX VEGAS Movie Studio 14 (note new name) is expected by the end of February 2017.
"Some new features will include: New video effects, Multi-cam editing, Travel route animation, and much more."

There was an offer in September/October to "upgrade to Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 13 ($20 off) and get 14 for free!" It included the option to purchase the Suite version as well. Some users did receive the offer, others may only have read about it. The links on the forum about the "exclusive offer" newsletter do not work any more. No version 14 of the (MV)MS product line is available at the moment.
