NewBlue FX

Many Blue FX 3d transitions that I used in Vegas 14 aren't available after upgrade to Vegas 19. I see the dreaded watermark. Does anyone know if there is a way to restore those? I have a Vegas 14 project open that used louvers and now I can't use it in Vegas 19.

I take it that you are referring to NewBlueFX transitions. If those transitions were a 'bonus' extra that came with your purchase of Vegas Pro 14, then given the watermark in Vegas Pro 19 it is quite likely that the NBFX transitions package is licence-locked to Vegas Pro 14. This means that they will only function without a watermark in Vegas Pro 14. Licence-locking of 3rd party plugins to the Vegas Pro version that they come with has long been a common occurrence. Whether or not a bonus extra is licence-locked often isn't known until a later version of Vegas Pro is purchased.

If the NBFX transitions were in a package that you purchased direct from NewBlueFX, then you may need to contact NewBlueFX Support via NBFX's webpage https://newbluefx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

Besides @Dexcon's comment, maybe this comment will help to understand the issue. You need to finish your old project(s) with those plugins in the older version.

Any effects or transitions that were a part of the 14 bundle will only work in 14. The only way to remove the watermark in 19 would be to purchase them.

@jetdv thanks for confirming.

Thank you everyone for the information. I appreciate it. I see now that BlueFX offers a Titler Pro 7 upgrade for $299. Do you think I would need to make that purchase in order to reactivate the plug-in?

The description of the Vegas 14 bundled plug-in was: NewBlueFX Titler Pro Express/Looks

The NB Transitions 5 package I purchased was $100, and it is quite different from TP7 Ultimate, which I purchased for $299. However, neither is locked to any particular version of Vegas, as I see them in both VP18 and VP19 on my laptop.

Thanks. That's good to know. I'll check out the NB Transitions 5 package.

Titler Pro 7 would be a replacement for your Titler Pro Express (and also has many more features)

For the transitions, you must look at the Transitions packages. Transitions 5 Ultimate has all of the available transitions. Then there are smaller packages that have a subset of those transitions each.
