It appears your plugin is back in trial mode. You'll probably have to re-register it with NewBlueFX.

This may give you an idea:

msmart, thanks for the reply and the link. I can't find my SN but as soon I get it hopefully the watermarks will be gone.

The version that shipped with VMS is TitlerEX. So are you using TitlerEX? Or Titler Pro? If you installed, Titler Pro, it WILL show a watermark unless you purchase the retail version and enter that serial number.

So make sure you're installing TitlerEX that came bundled with VMS and you will need to enter the serial number during the installation process.

I've never used TitlerPro. Trying to use "NewBlue Spotlight - OpenFX" and this is what has the watermarks.

I can't even find where to register now that I have my SN.

I don't that is one of the ones includes with VMS (recently). Add the FX to a clip, you should see an "I" near the "P" and "?" in the top right. Click the "i". You should then see a button to click to register. See here for more details.

For the OpenFX versions, you click on the "About" option to bring up the info dialog. Actually, it should tell you you're in trial mode and give you the option to activate there. Alternatively, you can go to Start - Programs - NewBlue - product name - Manage Activation.

Yes, Jet is absolutely correct. My response was for non-OpenFX.On smaller monitors or window sizes, you will need to scroll all the way to the right to see the "about".

OK, I dragged the video effect "NewBlue ST Spotlight - OpenFX" to a video clip. Clicking "About" or "?" does nothing. I'm not in trial mode, Help/About says VMS 11 is registered to me. But the watermark is still there. Thanks for your replies.

Chas,
are you sure that the video effect "NewBlue ST Spotlight - OpenFX" (and some others) was included with your VMS HD 11 PPS NewBlue extras? I have some of the same FX in VMStudio11 in trial mode (and with watermarks) only because they showed up after installing VPro 11 (which does include them as extras).
See the thread
http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?ForumID=12&MessageID=766077
for which NewBlues seem to be included with the VMS11HDPPS.

It is form Video Essentials III (not included in VMS-included freebies). If you still get a watermark, contact NewBlue.

NewBlue ST Spotlight - Open FX is most definitely NOT bundled with the Production Suite of VMSP version 11.
All the Video FX and Transitions that ARE bundled have the suffix MSPPS e.g. NewBlue MSPPS - Active Camera - Open Fx
The MSPPS denotes version 11.

Edit - here's a short video detailing FX/Transitions that are bundled with VMSP 11 Production Suite and an explanation of the various suffixes.

Thanks, Boy Atlantis. The one I'm using is not included. So that answers that question. Thanks to all that replied about this.

We did find an issue where the ST effects would show a watermark incorrectly when used on standard clips but would not show the watermark when used in Titler Pro. We have since resolved this issue for Vegas Pro 11 and Titler Pro. This may very well be the same issue on Titler EX in Vegas Movie Studio.
