No "render loop region only" .....?????

I am using Movie Studio 10.

When I use the easy templates that first pop up with "make movie" there is an option to only save the loop region.

But when I go into the advanced settings, and if I go futher to customize the advanced templates, there is no option to render only the loop region.

This is a big problem for me. sometimes I just want to test a certain section to see how it looks. Also I have some stuff moved over to the side after the end of the video that I keep there if I want to move it back into the video at some point.

Is there any way to render only the loop region in the advanced settings?????????

I take it you mean v 13 as in here.
In Advanced options > Render As ... window click the down arrow of Render Options to see the drop-down menu.

thanks. I see the option there but it is greyed out and when I click in the box next to it, a check does not appear. (the other three options, it does appear and they are not greyed out).

That's odd, if you actually have a loop region in your project.
Do you have that?

(From online Help (F1):
The check box is available only if you've created a time selection in the timeline.)
