When I clicked Add Media.. (shown in the screenshot), I was able to import files into the Project media window, as you may see in the screenshot.

To state the obvious, you won't see any files in the Project Media window, until you import something into the project. To import files while in the Project Media window, you need to press the Add Media button in top left corner. Then navigate to your files and select them. (I am assuming you already know this, but just in case you don't).

I have noticed over the years, that version 13 is very "wonky" and often the windows lock up and won't let you import anything. It just happened to me while I was answering your question.

I recommend you try the following:
1. Re-boot computer

2. Reset Movie Studio - this will clean the temporary files cache and restore all settings to defaults.

3. If the above doesn't work, try running Movie Studio in Administrator Mode. This often fixes Windows permission problems that can block the ability to import files.

Close Movie Studio first!
Right-click Movie Studio icon on your Windows desktop and select Run As Administrator.
If you are selecting Movie Studio from inside the Windows 10 Start Menu, right-click icon, select More, then Run As Administrator.

You said it yourself, this was obvious. So clearly, that's not what I meant. When I go to add media, it does not show any of the files I have.

@Zahara-Addo-Davis Does your version of the software come from Sony/SCS or MAGIX? If it's a Sony build, try downloading the last build (a MAGIX rebrand) from your MAGIX Account or MAGIX Download Center.

I didn't need all this. All I had to do was click all files in the bottom right of the add media window. Thanks.
