Only rendering part of project

I'm using Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12 and Ive just come across a strange issue that I haven't encountered before. I went to render just now but Movie Studio only creates a portion of the project that I was working on. It's not using all the content that is on the timeline. The video project runs for about a minute within Sony Movie Studio but the finished video file runs for six seconds. It skips out the beginning as well as the middle and everything after that. Any theories as to what's causing this?

Do you have a loop region set and then have render loop region only enabled? That's what it sounds like to me.

I'm not familiar with loop region. I don't think I have render loop region enabled, as far as I know. How would I check for this?

MSmart's "theory" is the only one I can think of as to what's causing this as well.
http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/forums/showprofile.asp?UserID=60712Dr Zen[/link] tells it like it is here.
Be sure to read the "Update April 2015" section.

Sufficient information should be able to be found in the Help menu. Many people forget to look there.

The Help > Show Me How tutorials are quite good too.

+1 for MSmart's reminder to use Help items and tutorials.

I suggested the outside tutorial to draw attention also to the way "Movie Studio Platinum 13 has completely changed how it handles Loop Regions when rendering/exporting video" and consequently to the differences in versions up to 12.
