Open the veg-project with an earlier version

Is there any way to open a Vegas 15 veg-project with the Vegas 14 version?

Set up a Vegas 14 project the same way as your Vegas 15, with same tracks, etc. Then to copy & paste all the events from one timeline to the other. I don't think there is another easier way.
