doyal,
sure you are in the Advanced Mode of Movie Studio Platinum 13?
Try resetting software to default settings
or autohide the taskbar and then drag up the pan crop window when the taskbar drops out of view.

what I want to do next is wipe out all connection to vegas 13 and reinstall. No list of prior programs etc. /anyone know how to do that? Now it remembers the prior list and settings I suppose

Try this instead, much faster and simpler: exit Vegas, then hold down the Shift & Ctrl keys while you launch it again. This resets all settings and preferences to the original "factory" state. Reinstalling doesn't do this.

Yes did that but to be sure I wiped out all prior editing to clear it. That worked. I think there is a bug there somewhere as this is the first time in any version I have used this has happened. Why does sony use the grey default blinding screen? really bad for us with bad eyesight. But I finally got th right combination to make it white.

I added some music to a project but the pitch slowed then came back? It was not off a CD originally on a DVD. How can I fix this from happening.
