Planned Vegas Movie Studio Purchase

Okay, so I’m planning to buy Vegas Movie Studio 14 Suite and have noticed that the previous offer of including a free upgrade to Vegas Movie Studio 15 Suite has been extended from the previous February 13th date to February 25th, as shown below:

Valid until February 25, 2018

Includes VEGAS Movie Studio 15 Suite (£99.99 / € 119,99 / A$189.99 value)

Questions

If I were to buy Vegas Movie Studio 14 Suite now, how would I go about obtaining the free upgrade to version 15 once it’s officially released, what sort of process would be involved?
I noticed on the product comparison page that the NewBlueFX transitions are included with the Platinum version but not the Suite version, and I would think, given that the Suite version is the premium version of the three, that they would be included. Is this by any chance just a mistake?

If a Magix representative or someone who has done this could help me out with this info I’d be most appreciative of your help.

For me at the moment, the MS product pages show the following: MSP and MSS 14+15 New purchase offer valid until Feb 25 and Upgrade offer valid until Feb 23.

Thanks mate for helping me out once again. I’m not new to purchasing software of course, but every business seems to do things a bit differently. So to get some clarification on my two questions is quite helpful.

It is quite unusual that everything except the NewBlueFX transitions is included with the Suite. Nevertheless, I’ve made my own transitions in the past. So if I want anything fancy I tend to just make it myself somehow. Thanks once again!

For myself, there was a pop-up like this in MSP 13. I tried to inform with links in that thread when the offers were extended. I don't remember having emails.

Thinking about it, unless the offer gets extended for a second time (wishful thinking), I might just wait the required time till Vegas Movie Studio 15 Suite is officially released. There’s really no rush.

One request, which I know many have mentioned, is to be able to change the UI colour scheme like you can in Vegas Pro 15 (which I trialled). I found the dark colour scheme, during the time I trialled VMS 14 Suite, a tad too dark for my liking. It’s easier to see things with a lighter colour scheme.

The offer was extended six times between Jan 13 and Feb 23.

Well, that’s good to know. I thought only three (3) times). Perhaps my wishful thinking isn’t as wishful as it seems. Thanks for telling me that. Anyway, I better get some sleep because it’s quite late here (or early, depending on how you look at it). Cheers mate!
