Please send me Vegas Movie Studio 17 instead of 18, as I was mislead

I was under the impression that Vegas Movie Studio was a consumer version of Vegas Pro. That is the ONLY reason I even considered buying it. The review I heard was of Movie Studio 17, but when I went to buy it, I only saw Movie Studio 18. Figuring this is just an upgrade, I bought Movie Studio 18 Platinum, never realizing that it is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SOFTWARE! I feel deceived.

The logo is very similar to the logo line for Vegas Pro. The software is made by the same company as Vegas Pro. If you're going to sell totally different software, please name it something else.

I read you don't do returns, but I think you really need to provide exchanges, since it's SUPER EASY to be MISLEAD into thinking you're getting a software similar to Vegas Pro, and you're not.

Please exchange my Movie Studio 18 for Movie Studio 17. Thank you.

@Ronald-F This is a user forum so unfortunately we cannot help you. You need to address your request to Magix. If you search the forum you will find other threads on this misleading situation.

Although Vegas Movie Studio is no longer being developed it would be nice if Magix made Vegas Movie Studio 17 available for a while, at least for 12 months. But it doesn't appear that will happen.

Welcome to the club. everyone got deceived by MAGIX including me and they will reject giving you refund. I am done with this deceivable unmoral company and will not buy or upgrade anything from them
