Plugin help files not showing up

I'm trying to find documentation on how to use various SVP 12 plug-ins. When I click the ? button in the plug-in window, nothing happens.

Is there anything I can do to access plug-in help files? I've tried to find the files using Windows Explorer, but no luck. If you know of a book or web site with detailed information on how to use various plug-ins, please let me know.

And I'd really like to make the ? buttons work for me (like they did in previous versions, e.g. SVP 9.) Thanks!

David,
context-sensitive help (? - What's this/Help) does work for me (in VPro12b486) in all the Sony plug-in windows (incl. transitions and media generators) except Layer Dimensionality. Help for that too, like e.g. for other video fx, is available in online Help / Applying video effects / Learning more about a specific plug-in.
Use Help / Contents and Index > Search.

David, I really feel for you. It's just so annoying . . .

I had a variant of this, in as much a the Help file would crash Vegas! Arghhh @~"£%^ .

I contacted SCS over a period of 3 years, who were understanding, but that's as far as it got.

Solution: I then decided to track down the Help file, copy it to or did I make a short-cut(?) on my Desktop and made a Task Bar click-away. It worked.

Grazie

David,
if it's any help, my Vegas Pro 12 Help files are located in Program Files (x86) / Sony / Shared Plug-Ins / Help Files > vegas120.chm.

With your suggestions & info--thanks for responding, everyone--I tried some things. Finally, I uninstalled and reinstalled SVP 12. Voila! The ? buttons now respond obediently to my command. Now I can find something else to obsess about :)

I really appreciate this forum. Long live Vegas!
