pop up ads when I turn on computer

How do I remove the pop up ads to save on buying magix products when I start the computer.

Goto Options/Preferences/General and uncheck the option "Use Newfeed to......"

this does not work. when I return to preferences, this box is always "re-checked" as if they required you to see this ad constantly.

no, i've done this multiple times, closed the software, rebooted, etc.
