Try in Windows 10 in Settings, Notifications and Actions and turn Notifications off - this should hopefully stop notifications from apps and other senders (that's what it says next to the on/off switch anyway).

Oh wow, thank you so much for the quick response!

Unfortunately, this popup ad from Magix is not related to the Notifications of Windows 10. I have those all turned off anyway (and Magix is not listed as a Sender, either).

From memory, a while back there was a "Magix Connect" app that annoyed users. Check your apps to see if it's there in the Windows list of Settings/Apps.

Yessir, that must be it. Thanks to your message, I found this post on the exact problem that I have (had for many years, but am only now doing something about it): http://www.bitwisemag.com/2019/07/magix-popup-ads-how-to-get-rid-of-them.html

Would removing Magix Connect affect the function of my installed Magix software? I have Movie Studio installed.

Thank you!

When you have some spare time, you might read this discussion on MAGIX Connect/Connect. It may be a bit outdated by now but still.
