Preview tab disappeared

Whenever I go into the "view" tab to see if I could somehow bring it back through there, it comes up with "no extensions". How do I get the preview screen back?

Which version of Movie Studio?
If it's the (basic) Movie Studio 13, try to reset software to default settings.
If it's Movie Studio Platinum 13 or older, try first Alt+4. If that does not help, try Alt+D, D.
Be sure to be in the Advanced Edit Mode, if it's MSPlatinum 13.
If those don't help, try resetting.

Alt+4 = View > Window (in MSP 13) > Video Preview
Alt+D, D = View > Window Layouts > Default Layout
