Pro 20 Serial number problem
I downloaded Pro 20 on Dec. 2 – and I can’t open it, as it won’t accept my current (Pro 17) number. Researching the Forum, it looks like I need a new serial number for the trial download -- and that Magix should have e-mailed it to me. Is this right? I contacted Magix on the 2nd, and hopefully will hear from them.
Reason for the upgrade: I e-mailed Magix on Nov. 21 regarding a big crashing problem with my Pro 17 (crashing 10+ times a day, sometimes as often as every two minutes) and I asked if getting Pro 20 would be the best way to stop the crashing (the upgrade was on sale) -- otherwise I don't need/want Pro 20. Magix responded 3 weeks later -- on Dec. 2 -- saying the best solution would be to try the trial version of Pro 20. So I downloaded Pro 20 immediately – but I can’t open it.
The irritating part of Magix’ delay in responding to my request is that, if I finally can open Pro 20 and it works, the sale for the Pro 20 upgrade ended on the 4th.
Any ideas on the serial number problem (and the crashing problem?)
