Problem: Unmanaged Exception (0xc0000005)

Needed to re-install Vegas Pro 13. Registration worked, but program does not open. Below is the error message. Do I need to upgrade to the latest (Magix) version of this software? Any help is much appreciated.

My latest version is build 545, maybe first trying to update your build?

By downloading it from your Magiix account, because Magix is the new owner of Sony Creative software.
If you don't have been there before login with the email you use at Sony.
