I live in Ukraine, and it costs $50 on Steam, but $150 on the website. So, there are no regional prices on the website, so if I buy it, it's only available on Steam for a lower price? Or is there a way to lower the regional price on the website? And if I want to upgrade to the next version later, can I do so on Steam? Also, are all Vegas Pro features available on Steam?

On Vegas Pro's website, click on the globe icon in the header and that will show you the regional options for purchasing Vegas Pro:

As there is no specific listing for Ukraine, presumably the 'International' option would be the appropriate selection; however, if that doesn't work, try 'United States'. MAGIX currently has Black Friday pricing so that is very likely to be the best price that you are going to get from MAGIX on a retail sale.

If you were to select an EU country for pricing (even though Ukraine is not currently an EEC member as far as I know), you may find that the price is increased by Europe's VAT/TVA taxes.

Re Steam, you will need to closely compare Steam's VP23 offering with that from MAGIX. For example, does Steam's version offer the Hub Starter Pack and the ability to purchase download Refills as comes with VP23 from MAGIX? But if you don't need Hub features at all, then the Hub wouldn't be an issue.

Vegas Pro from MAGIX allows two concurrent activations on different computers whereas my understanding is that Steam only allows one activation (that used to be the case anyway); and buying from Steam means that you are in the 'Steam Universe' reliant on Steam for updates and upgrading to new versions (if offered). Having a Steam version does not entitle you to MAGIX upgrade pricing if you wanted to move from Steam over to MAGIX's Vegas Pro versions.

Also, please double-check that you are Steam's genuine website - looking on Steam locally, their Vegas Pro 23 offer is much more expensive that that offered direct from MAGIX. And even Steam's Vegas Pro 18 offer is higher than MAGIX's current Black Friday Vegas Pro 23 offer.

I cannot find the $50 offer on Steam's website. We are of course referring to US$.

Steam shows me NZ$218 for VP23 Steam Edition. That's roughly US$120, which is cheaper than the Vegas website, but nowhere near $50.
