Refresh the installation

I'm having some problems, basically the playback of anything in the timeline doesn't work unless it is audio. If the video has audio, only the audio plays. The video plays like 1 frame every 5 seconds or something.

The problem probably started when few days ago I installed quicktime player and ffdshow. Trying to fix the other issue I was having which I talked about in another thread.

I say probably because I didn't use Vegas for few days now.

Or perhaps it's something else.

I have restored a previous version (restore point) of Windows trying to fix, but it doesn't seem to have fixed this particular problem.

Is there a way to "refresh" the installation? Or do I have to install it over the current one again?

Latest version of VMS17Suite.

The only issue I still have is with one project which for some reason doesn't play properly no matter what, when it used to play fine. The clips play fine in the trimmer, just not in the timeline anymore. Weird. Not a huge deal, a small project I can quickly make again, just weird as this has never happened to me before in all these years.

Anyway, I consider the issue closed.
