Rendering 4K video

I recently upgraded to MS 17 from 16 and I've noticed that there is now no option available under "Render As" to render my Sony 4K video clips in Sony XAVC-S, which was available in MS16? Why have Magix done this, or am I missing something??

Probably part of product differentiation re VMSP vs. VP. See if this thread helps.

It's interesting that this has been removed. The comparison page says "XAVC S" is available for import only in Platinum and Suite. But the free trial page says "XAVC S" is available for video editing in Movie Studio Suite. Looks like they are still updating their pages!

4K can be of course output from either of the Magix templates -- standard 4K or HEVC.
