Rendering from Movie Studio 13 for DVD Architect 6

I own Vegas Pro 12 and DVDA 6. I recently purchased Sony Movie Studio 13 Platinum believing it had the ability to make Blu-ray discs with menus. After creating a project I learned that SMS 13 will only make DVD's with menus - not Blu-rays.

Since I own DVDA 6, I'm wondering if there is a format I could output my project from SMS 13 "with its markers" that could be imported into DVDA 6 to make Blu-ray discs with chapters.

Are you not able to insert media into a DVD A Pro 6 menu-based BD project, if in SMSP 13 you clicked Make Movie > Save it to hard drive and rendered a video file with the .m2v extension (and a separate audio file) and (in Render Options) checked Save project markers in rendered media file?

Your SMSP 13 came with DVD A Studio, but it does have its limits.

I'm sure I am. I just couldn't remember what formats would be necessary to allow the markers to be contained in the video file.

Thanks so much for your time!

When you render video in Vegas, there is a box you tick to include the markers. Note that this produces a .sfl sidecar file which should be in the same folder as the video and audio files. Do not rename the files.

In MSPlatinum 13 you just need to click three times more than in VPro to find the box, if you want to use DVD A Pro instead of Studio.
