hello, I've had a problem with sony vegas pro 14 since a month ago.
every time I place my video in vegas pro, some of my video is black. not completely black but a part. I've tried everything: I reset my settings, reset my settings from my recorder (OBS), I even used another video format. but nothing worked. when I watch my video that has not yet been edited. then everything is normal. but if I do that in sony vegas pro 14. then some pieces are black again. can anyone help me please? I've been trying things for months.

im using:

gpu: nvidia 940mx

cpu: intel i7-7500u

ram:12gb

operating system: windows 10 home

sony vegas version: 14 (build 270)

It's to do with vegas pro not being compatible with hardware encoding of obs. Try this

Issue probably has something to do with variable frame rate video. Common issue with OBS recordings in some editing software.

First start doing this part C before you get a proper answer and less guesses.

No, but possibly related to frame rate. OBS until recently gave a false frame rate in the meta data with hardware encoding. This caused known problems with some editors. It's been fixed in the latest version of OBS.
