Search Help - Vegas Hangs

Vegas 13 has this problem. Search help and it locks up Vegas. I was hoping it would have been resolved with Vegas 14 Build 201 but it still happens. Not being able to search Help makes it a lot more inefficient to use. Any known cure? Thanks

No known cure but a workaround is to open the Help file from outside Vegas or VMS.

Yeah, in years past I've had a Shortcut or the actual Help *.THM File on my Desktop.

Thanks for the replies. Where is the help file and how to open it from outside Vegas? I went looking for it but drew a blank.

I don't have VPro 14, so maybe someone else can give you the exact location there.

When I bought VP14 early last week, VP14's user manual was one of the download links - it was a .pdf file. I created a link to the manal on the desktop simply by creating a shortcut to the saved .pdf file.

It's in the Shared Plug-Ins folder in "Help Files" folder.

I've just tested by Copying to The Desktop - works fine.
