Serial number for upgrade

I had Vegas Movie Studio 9.0 on a previous computer. I don't have the serial number. Will I be able to use an upgrade to 17?

You need the serial number. If you registered VMS 9 with Sony/SCS, log in to your old account at https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/myaccount/home and go to My Software.

With luck, you may find your S/N on your MAGIX account as well.
