Smart Zoom stopped working

I'm having similar problems with Smart Zoom as user named Dark had few years ago:

So, I have used smart zoom in a few of my unfinished projects, but now it has stopped working and all the clips where I have used it only show as black. In the Video Event FX window for these clips the program tells me that "This plug-in requires OpenCL to function".

The difference to Dark's case is that I already have Vegas pro 14, build 270, so the same solution doesn't work for me.

Similarly to Dark, the only option for me now in Options > Preferences > Video > GPU acceleration of video processing is: "Off".

I have also checked the Options > ctrl+ shift Preferences > Internal, and tried to find something about GPU from there (because in some other post someone suggested to check that), but there doesn't seem to be any options with the word GPU. There are many with the word OpenCL though, but I don't really know what I am looking for here, so I haven't tried changing anything about them.

I am using a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card with the newest driver version (445.87) and I have Windows 10.

I would really appreciate any ideas on how to make this work again in Vegas Pro 14.

If the software worked before, at least try resetting. Follow the instructions closely.

Oh wow, that actually worked. It is a bit embarrassing how easy to solution was, but for some reason this option didn't even cross my mind. From here on out I shall remember to try this, if I encounter similar weird behavior.

And now my graphics card shows in the "GPU acceleration of video processing" options as well.

Thanks for coming back and confirming the solution. Always appreciated. Resetting is often worth a try, especially if the software worked before.
