Just recently updated to Vegas Pro 17. Today I got an alert for new update. Unless something went wrong on my end, this update process does not seem to run very smoothly. When I clicked on the update button, it took an extremely long time to download (nearly 30 minutes). That has to be your end as I have a 400mbs internet connection. When the download completed, I opted to install immediately. The Vegas program closed as if it was applying the update. I then got an error message saying the update could not run while Vegas was running, even though Vegas was not running. I restarted Vegas and got the message that an update was available. I clicked the button to apply update, and it started download AGAIN. I don't have another 30 minutes to wait so I cancelled out.
