[Solved] Vegas Pro 15: No cropping boarders around text

robin-v wrote on 1/26/2018, 2:53 AM

I've recently tried out Vegas Pro 15 and I've already run into an issue with it. When I try to add text in my video then I don't get any visible cropping controls for the text on my preview window. These tools are somehow still present though and I can interact with them but when I do my preview window doesn't get updated until I close the text settings and play my video again.

I literally just installed the software, haven't done anything with it yet. The following are the specs of the laptop I'm using it on:

  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ (4 cores)
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M
  • RAM: 1 x 8 GB
  • Chipset: Intel HM170
  • OS: Windows 10

Read Cornico here to see if that's your issue as well.

Changing that option (both on and off) didn't do anything and like I said, I've only just installed the program, everything should be default.

And the possible issue with the driver version he mentioned?

Yep that was the solution, thank you!

Oh I only now noticed the answer you gave in the first post (derp). I just did what the solution of the first post was (turning the Split Screen View on or off), but changing driver like you suggested was the solution.

That thread was also linked by me. It's often worth the effort to read further in threads.

More of a general advice thing, Cornie, not to you;)
