Sony Platinum 13.0 will not allow media mp4 files to be added on edit

I have never had any problem ever loading new camera video to edit , until Thursday Oct 20 2016 .

the sony platinum vegas 13.0 now will not recognize the raw files i have inmy PC ..I can not do any editing because sony 13.0 will not awknowldge the files .wTF? I use windows 10 64bit ... i keep getting an error - in fact the video files do not even appear available when I try to load media ...

OK I...downloaded the free demo version off the net - from SONY ...Suite 13.0

Ok...when i installed the "demo" , it asked me if I wanted to "UP DATE" / I clicked YES ..... the demo finished loading / I re BOOT PC / opened up SONY 13.0 / EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECTLY AGAIN ...thank you SONY .......... now I can get busy again...😁😀👌

Excellent. Sony ain't listening any more, but I'm sure they'd be pleased to know.
