Speed ramping audio/sound gradually?

I'd like to slow down audio gradually like we can with the velocity function for video. Problem is that the connected audio does not slow down if video is slowed down using velocity. this results in audio playing at different speed + it's not in sinc with the video anymore.

Cutting the audio and slowing it down manually with a little fade does the trick for now, but it takes forever to do if you have a big project with loads of slow motion, plus it's far from perfect either.

I wish a audio velocity/speed ramp feature was added.

I had to create similar effect 3 or 4 times in my praxis, I went out for Audacity and it's sliding stretch. I wansn't aware until @Marco. pointed out that there's an effect for this built in Vegas.

So look at this thread, the solution for your problem might be there:

It sorted "élastique Timestretch" (which is the FX which can be used to do audio speed ramps) is not a built-in Vegas Pro FX but it likely came with Sound Forge Pro (and then can be used in Vegas Pro, too).
