(The post from ahmed-a9116 translated)

"Why can't I speed up the video unlimitedly? In Premiere, the video can be speeded up unlimitedly. But in Sony Vegas, there is limited value. I always need to repeat the speeding up process and export the file and speed it up again. Is there a solution to this problem?"

In Sony Vegas - the last version from Sony being version 13 - the maximum speed ramping was x4 from memory. In Vegas Pro versions released under MAGIX ownership since 2016, the maximum ramping speed has been lifted to x10.

If Premiere can achieve the ramping speed that you want, then why not up-speed there and import the render into Vegas Pro. Like many others, I use a number of 3rd party programs - both video and audio - to augment my experience in Vegas Pro; for example, BorisFX BCC and Mocha Pro, NBFX plugins, SpectraLayers Pro, iZotope RX Advanced, etc.

Nonetheless, a higher velocity in Vegas Pro would be most welcome.

Also remember that you can combine the playback rate speed changes (4x) with the Velocity Envelope speed changes (10x now) to get even higher rates (up to 40x).
