Okay so someone had to be the first with an overview/review of VMS 14
One thing I can be certain of is that there will be as many opinions and counter-opinions as there are viewers!

Thank you tim-frost for your quick overview of MVMSP 14. Overall it was a very enlightening experience and confirmed many of the preconceptions I've had so far and you are right about the opinions differing. If I decide to upgrade, I'll certainly be needing a fresh pair of eyes or a much bigger screen (emphasized by the zooming of the workspace) or both (not to mention a new mindset) to come to terms with the new modern GUI. Luckily I have both SVP 13 and SMSS 12 + 13 while I keep weighing pros and cons. One thing is sure, I certainly don't need to start fighting again with the potential NB incompatibilities.
Yhanks vkmast. I think a reasonable size screen is a must now-a-days ( new eyes is less of an option). But teething bugs aside, I think VMS14 is more usable all round.
Despite my anger for what was done with the NewBlue Titler.. You did a good job..
