Submitting Serial Number, but Trial Expired keeps coming up

I have re-downloaded my installation copy of Vegas HD Platinum 11.0 and installed. When I enter the serial number associated with the product, I get the application will be restarted and it asks for my serial number again. Please help - I'm caught in an endless loop with no working product.
