tabs at edit points

Movie Studio 17 appears to have gray tabs at audio edit points. These tabs obscure the wave form at that point, interfering with the actual edit. I am a long time user of this software and have never noticed them before. Is there an easy way to eliminate these tabs? Clearly, whoever thought they were a good idea does not understand audio editing.

Event handles, maybe? (new in VMS 17 P)

@vkmast You could be right although they are faint and hardly obscure. But anyway he can switch them off via the hamburger.

I thought Michael might be referring to envelope keyframes?
