I am trying to animate text in Movie Studio Platinum 13. So far it's been easy, if not intuitive, and I'm learning quickly. However, when trying to animate text I cannot get any changes to apply. Pan and zoom works fine, and I can do that properly, but not animation for some reason.

For example, I have a transparent title with a shadow.

I hit the clock next to shadow blur in order to have the shadow go from blurry to clear over the title's five second length.

I add a second keyframe at the end and use the slider to set the shadow blur at the first and second keyframe to different levels.

But not matter how many times I try to apply it nothing happens, when I exit the window or go to edit something else my changes disappear and the shadow blur line between the two keyframes becomes straight.

What am I doing wrong? Fully willing to stream live on Twitch if I'm not making myself clear.
