9. How many computers can I use VEGAS Pro on? You can use VEGAS Pro (14.0 and later, perpetual and SmartScription licenses) simultaneously on 2 devices. VEGAS Pro 365 can be used on 1 device at a time.
To deactivate a device, so you can activate a different one, visit your MAGIX account > My Products > Show More Details > Deactivate. This option can be used only once a month.
In VEGAS Pro 14.0 or later, you can also choose Deactivate the Software on this PC from the Help menu This option can be used as often as you wish. An internet connection is required.

@MAGIX I have upgraded from version 14 to 365 and wish to use it like version 14 - installed on my standalone desktop PC AND laptop and using on desktop OR on my laptop when I'm on the go. That means I'm using only one device at a time. I travel a lot, and the constant logging in to my Magix account and activation/deactivation process is very cumbersome. Additionally, the Boris plugins do not allow activating plugins on a second machine without uninstalling them from the desktop computer. Why, in this age of Internet accessibility, don't you provide an option to automatically allow the program to run on only one machine at a time? Please do it! :) Regards, K.
To clarify, you need to "deactivate the Software on this PC from the Help menu. This option can be used as often as you wish. An internet connection is required". As you can see from the quoted FAQ text, The MAGIX account option is much more cumbersome and restricting.
@Krzysztof-G But you may need to consider cancelling your 365 and going back to the perpetual license.

@Krzysztof-G ... BorisFX products - which are not Vegas products - have their Boris FX Hub which allows you to de-activate and activate - there is absolutely no need to uninstall and re-install BorisFX products to change activation between computers - not sure how you came to that conclusion . From memory, de-activation and activation can also be done within the BorisFX window itself when open in Vegas Pro (or any other NLE which can use that BorisFX OFX effect).
