The Unfortunate, Albeit Laughable Steam Fiasco

To put it simply, I finally understand the "upheaval" that has taken place in the forums with insane amount of people complaining about 'not wanting a refund" but for the "program to function as intended."

Apparently, VEGAS EDIT was set at a price of 50 cents. I don't know about you guys, but I'd have moved heaven and earth to try and insure that I get VEGAS at that price.

You can understand why folks "don't want a refund".

There is, of course, no way to say whether this is MAGIX's fault or something went horribly wrong with the steam client.

But - incase everyone's wondering why the surge of voices in this forum about the subject. Now you know :P

FYI, from VEGASDerek in the main thread of complaints: "A problem occurred in the our product launch of VEGAS Pro 18 on Steam. We are working with Steam to remedy the situation."

Please note that if everybody "moved heaven and earth to try and insure that [ŧhey] get VEGAS at that price", (for various reasons) they probably would not have MAGIX or at least VEGAS to kick around much longer.
