You can have two, or more, instances of VMS open at the same time. So just copy from one to the other. From memory it doesn't work using Windows clipboard if you simply open a different project in the same instance of VMS.
3Point, ok tanks. Do you know if in the "vegas pro version 16" version, the situation remains as in vms 15 platinum, or up version could the user also copy (no restriction) trackfx and trackmotion ?

@Betovalle Vegas Pro has the same restriction as MS when copying and pasting. Vegas Pro will do project nesting, which will being in the results of Track Motion and Track Fx to a second projects, but you cannot modify that track motion or Track Fx once it is imported and placed in the 2nd project.
Be aware that when copying from one project to another, that trackfx and trackmotion is NOT copied!
Sorry to bring this up again, if trackfx and trackmotion is NOT copied, than what's the point of getting one project into the other? It's not what it meant/need to be.
I just run into this issue as I'm continue to learn VMS16, I downloaded few transitions and I want to learn how to use them in other projects.

@FayFen if the project being copied doesn't have any track FX or track motion, then the copy works fine, if it does, than that part of the copied project needs to be recreated from scratch in the new project. Not every project has the use of track level fx or motion.
Examine the downloaded transition, study it, learn it, then apply it to your project. We sometimes run into restrictions and have to work around them.

Eagle6, all I'm saying that if this method do not get "all" the stuff than do not call it "transfer projects". Better call it transfer bare bone clips or events (as you call them) but certainly not projects.
J-V, this is indeed my intention in order to solve the issue but, still did not get it. I thought I saved a position path, but recalling it later loaded just the first key frame.
I don't see anyone mentioning "transfer projects", only "copying (from) project" with the restrictions that were pointed out. There may be a language barrier here.

Not to beat a horse that is already dead, however as @vkmast points out, putting language barrier aside, you used the term "transfer projects", no one else. The copy and paste tool is exactly that, a tool, made possible because of the feature that Movie Studio and Vegas Pro can have multiple instances loaded at the same time. This tool works like many other programs that permit multiple instances, but is not available in many programs that prevent multiple instances. So we can copy and paste from one project contents, in part and/or whole, but that doesn't include entire mirror duplicates if track FX and/or track motion is included. If you need a track fx or track motion to be copied, I understand it will not work for you, but for others it is a slick tool.
Just to clarify, I do often refer to clips that have been placed on a track in the timeline as 'events', because that was the term used by Sony and often Magix referencing clips place in the timeline. Not my term, I just use it because it has been used so often by the creators of Movie Studio and Vegas Pro. When I reference source media in the project bins I refer to them as clips. When referencing in other programs such as DaVinci Resolve, I always use clips, because that is how they are referenced by the producers of Resolve, Blackmagic.
Back to the Copy/Paste. The reason the track fx and track motion will not copy is simply because it (track) cannot be selected for copy. This is the same with any FX you apply at the media level, and/or the project level. For example if you apply MAGIX stabilization, it must be applied to the media clip, not the event (clip) in the timeline. This will not copy and paste. If you apply an FX at the project level, it will not copy and paste. Only the changes, effects, etc. that are applied in the timeline as part of the event, will copy and paste.
With all that said, I Thank You for bringing this up. It can be misleading. So, in the future when I suggest using the copy and paste tool, I will also include that it will specifically copy only the timeline level, not track, media, or project level.
Thanks for that clarification, looks as I was hoping for something VMS is lacking. Import a project into a project is not something I consider novelty but a basic tool (as is for years in my other NLE ). The magix VMS guys thinks differently.
You are correct, as VMS does not have any 'import' feature. It can open other VMS projects from it's current version and previous versions (again that import may have some restrictions), but for an import feature that would be Vegas Pro. I am curious, what is your "my other NLE"?
The decision not to include some of what are considered "more pro" features was of course made long before the Magix ownership. The product differentiation still continues, but some new features from VPro are being added while others already included may be dropped. For obvious reasons, MAGIX probably does not want to bring MSP too close for comfort regarding VPro.
Meanwhile, lacking "nesting" you could try if the workaround 2) here would work for you in MSP.
Eagle6 I referred to Corel's Video Studio, it has very sleek masks features and indeed can nest projects in 2 ways (as a single clip or fully tracks spread) . Also one can copy/paste only needed attributes between events.
VMS can actually nesting, I once converted a VPro project (with nested events) with Versionfaker to a VMS project. This project was opened in VMS with the nested events. So for me, this nesting feature, is actually present in VMS, but only disabled.

This is what I did, Yesterday I visited https://vegasaur.com and d/L few of their free stuff, with conversion I was able to open them in VMS16 but only as a single stand alone project,
